Silicon Phone Case

Designing the Case: First, a 3D model of the phone case is created using software. This model is very precise and takes into account the exact measurements and specifications of the specific phone model that the case is being designed for.

Creating the Mold: The 3D model is then used to create a mold for the phone case. This is typically done through a process called CNC machining, where the mold is carved out of a block of metal using computer-controlled tools. The mold is very detailed, containing all the cutouts for the phone’s camera, buttons, and ports.

Mixing the Silicone: The silicone material is prepared by mixing a silicone base with a curing agent. This process also includes adding color pigments if a colored case is desired.

Casting: The prepared silicone is poured into the mold. This is usually done under pressure to ensure that the silicone fills all parts of the mold and there are no air bubbles.

Curing: The mold is then heated to a specific temperature for a certain period. This process, known as curing, hardens the silicone and gives it its final properties.

Demolding and Finishing: After the silicone has fully cured, the case is carefully removed from the mold. The case is then inspected for any defects. Any excess material, called flash, is trimmed off, and the case is polished if necessary.

Quality Check and Packaging: Finally, the finished case goes through a quality check to ensure it meets the required standards. Once approved, the case is packaged and prepared for shipment.
